The real estate market changes constantly, and in order for agents to be successful for our clients we need to change with it. Today, of course, that means embracing technology. Personally, I like staying social. For years now, social media has been an ideal way to remain connected with far off family and friends. But, it has now also become the new form of reaching out to current and prospective clients.
Gone are the days when buyers would flip through the phonebook to find a real estate agent, or eagerly await the Sunday paper to look for properties for sale. Homebuyers have changed their habits, and real estate agents have too. Here are a few innovative ways I help my clients buy and sell their properties:
- Instagram video: There’s no better way to showcase a home than through video. A virtual reality tour is an ideal way to showcase a home, its most unique features, and the neighborhood it’s in. For my clients and their properties, it’s a surefire way to attract attention. View some of my videos here.
- Monthly blogs: I love to share information about South Florida and real estate, an area and an industry for which I have a great deal of passion and knowledge. Whatever the topic of my monthly blogs, I try to include a unique perspective that new and long-time residents can appreciate.
- Social media accounts: As a real estate agent, Facebook and Instagram are great platforms for me. As the saying goes: a picture is worth a thousand words. As such, I can post photos and videos of my beautiful listings on these platforms and generate plenty of interest.
- Create relevant content: Providing my clients with the right information has always been a priority, but it’s becoming increasingly more important to provide engaging content now that we have a constant flow of information.
Technology has made it easier for all realtors to connect with new and existing clients. Personally, I’ve taken advantage of all the tools at my disposal. And while my website, my blog, and my social media accounts have helped me build awareness, it’s my experience and knowledge that my clients appreciate the most.
